D’anina Photography by Dia Kiss is a photography studio specializing in capturing modern timeless maternity and newborn memories for expecting mothers in the Chicago suburbs. The studio provides a warm and relaxing environment in Pingree Grove, Illinois.

My photography journey started when I got my hands on my dad’s camera at the age of 5, which quickly became my favorite toy as I often spend time alone due my brother’s frequent hospital visits and my parents separation.

As a young adult I moved from Hungary, where I am originally from, to Paris, then Spain, California, and now Illinois. Throughout the moves I developed photography skills to document and capture architecture and places I would visit, study and worked.

I always dreamt of having a family and building memories with them. Needless to say, carrying my own child and give birth has been the most life changing experience for me.

I learned that the journey of becoming a mother has lots of highs and lows, filled with moments of joy, excitement, anxiety, tired and sleepless nights, numerous changes in your face and body, that once gone were too precious.

It was through these bitter sweet moments when I noticed the small changes were worth to document and cherish, this inspired me to start taking more photos.

I am on a mission in creating this connection with your present you and the beautiful changes you went through in your motherhood journey.
