Danilo Monte

I am a professional with twenty years of experience in the field of digital video production. My work ranges from cinematography to color grading and directing. As a director of photography and filmmaker, I have created films, documentaries, commercials, and television formats. My most recent significant works in this area include two commercials for Amazon and ACI, broadcast on Rai and La7 TV. In the documentary field, I have gained international experience in Nepal, India, and Rwanda, and more recently, I worked as DoP/operator on the film Il fronte interno by Paola Piacenza, produced by Luca Guadagnino.

For about five years, I have been training as a colorist. I earned the DaVinci Resolve End User certification, completed a Color Grading course at the Experimental Center of Cinematography led by Alessandro Bernardi, and attended masterclasses with renowned international colorists such as Warren Eagles, Cullen Kelly, and Kevin Shaw. In recent years, I have worked as a colorist on commercials, feature films, short fiction films, documentaries, music videos, and institutional videos, including Canone Effimero by the De Serio brothers (in competition at the Berlinale 2025, Forum section), the Bologna FC sponsor commercial directed by Marco Proserpio and aired on DAZN in January 2025, and Otter, an international fiction co-production directed by Srdjan Vuletic with cinematography by Filip Tot.
