Tutoring
I offer online and in-home tutoring options. If you are leaning more towards the in-home option, these are the towns I will travel to in Wisconsin: Green Bay area, De Pere area, Luxemburg, Kewaunee, Algoma, Denmark, Manitowoc, Two Rivers.
Online tutoring gives more options in terms of meeting times! I mostly use Google Meets for meetings and various tools like Jamboard to assist in going through examples and problems in math, to diagram a story, or to organize science and social studies notes. I will also use Zoom and/or other video conferencing tools that best meets the family's needs. I am open to tutoring all subjects and if something is outside of my expertise, I will be upfront about that and try to help in any way I can. I am a certified teacher for 1st-8th grade with a math minor.
I can help with homework, revising and editing papers, and/or test prep. If preparing for a test, please let me know as soon as possible when the test is in order for me to be able to accurately prepare. I can also help with basic organization and study skills. If you are looking for tutoring for certain skills, I can help with that too!
Fees
In-person/Online:
$25/hour for 1st-4th grade (ages 5-9)
$30/hour for 5th-8th grade (ages 10-14)
$35/hour for 9th+ (dependent on subject)
*I'm willing to work with families on fees.
Tutoring can be as often as you would like (as it fits our schedules) for your child. Once we are in contact with one another, we can set up a schedule of sorts if you would like it to be a regular thing. If it is just once in a while, that is fine, too. Tutoring appointments must be set up at least 24 hours in advance.
