NEW! Dolby Atmos Mixes by Daniil Beznosiuk
I am passionate about poetry and combine it with music — a craft I love just as deeply. On this page, you will find my poetry-related work, including: my musical releases of sung poetry, the lyrics and my personal interpretation as the performer, my own poems along with their literary analysis, as well as information about upcoming poetic releases and projects.
Enjoy exploring this world.
The release of sung poetry is a piece featuring my music and the poetry of Adam Mickiewicz — an outstanding Polish writer and poet, born in Belarus in 1798. The poem, titled "Do M", which I performed, was written in 1823 and takes the form of an imaginary dialogue with a beloved, telling the story of the poet's unhappy love. The poem was addressed to Maryla Wereszczakówna — Mickiewicz’s first love. It belongs to the genre of direct lyrical poetry, as shown by the use of first-person singular verbs and corresponding pronouns. The author also used various stylistic devices such as parallelisms, repetitions, anaphoras, epithets, comparisons, and metaphors.
My composition has a long history. The first chords and a similar rhythm emerged around ten months ago, and the final version, written in musical notation, took shape in the autumn of 2024. For the following months, however, I couldn’t find the right use for it — only when the idea of recording an album of sung poetry came up did it become incredibly valuable and fit the genre perfectly.
The day before recording the vocals, I refined the composition with attention to the lyrics, emphasizing certain words and stylistic devices in the poem, and working on the harmony.
The release *"Чого являєшся мені у сні"* (*"Why Do You Appear to Me in a Dream"*) is based on a poem by the Ukrainian prose writer and poet Ivan Franko, written in 1896 and performed in 2025 to my own musical composition. The poem is part of the collection *"Withered Leaves"* (*"Зівʼяле листя"*). Its genre is lyrical poetry, specifically intimate lyricism, and it belongs to the modernist movement.
The poem reflects the emotional turmoil and inner world of a person experiencing unrequited love. In the original text, various literary devices are used, such as comparisons, epithets, metaphors, repetition, and rhetorical questions.
During the process of composing and arranging the piece, some lines were modified, and certain original stanzas were not included in the final release.
I am currently in the process of recording an album dedicated to poetry. This album will feature both my own poems and works by other authors.
To introduce you — my listeners — to this format, I have released several poems as individual singles.
Due to caution regarding copyright, I will not publish the lyrics of these poems until their official release.
