• Visit to USA institutions:                                                                                                                                 1) Workshop of the ASA Section on Statistics and the Environment (ENVR), Houston (8-10 October).  Invited speaker at the Session on Advances in Point Process Modeling.                 2) Visit to Biostat dept at UCLA, Los Angeles, to deliver a seminar on 14 October.                    3) Visit to Statistical Science dept at Duke, to deliver a seminar on 16 October. 

• I was announced Fellow of ISBA at an awards ceremony during the closing banquet of the 2026 ISBA World Meeting (July) 

• 35th International Symposium on Statistics, Bogotá (14-17 July). Conference on Multivariate Poisson Process for multiple presence-only data & Short course on Exact Bayesian Spatial Analysis.

• Visit to IE University, Madrid (June). Visit from 8-12 June, Seminar on 11 June & Workshop Interdisciplinary Research and the Role of Data Science on 12 June.

• Visit to ITAM,  Mexico City (18-25 April). Seminar on 24 April on How Statistics can help archaeologists better understand the relevance of their findings

• Publication by CRC of the 3rd edition of our MCMC book on 29 July
