Weekly Reports

Week 13 (2020-12-8): Continued to work on the Blackjack project with my group and finished Lab 6. I also updated my website and GitHub

Week 12 (2020-12-1): I worked on making up the Labs. Finished labs one through five. I also did some research on the Blackjack entity and worked out on paper how to develop an entity for the dealer.

Week 11 (2020-11-24): My subgroup decided to attempt a Blackjack game using the FPGA. We also created a Github for the team.

Week 10 (2020-11-17): Discussed Final Project ideas with our group. We split up into two subgroups decided on creating two games

Week 9 (2020-11-10): I scheduled a meeting to pick up the Pmod's to complete the Labs

Week 8 (2020-10-27): Downloaded Vivado and continued to read the textbook

Week 7 (2020-10-20): Picked up my Nexus FPGA board and I worked on my first program "Half Adder." The program compiled correctly however I ran into problems getting GTKWave to run.

Week 6 (2020-10-13): Went over chapters 7, 8, and 9 and took notes

Week 5 (2020-10-6): Held a meeting with professor Zhoa Feng and was introduced to High Level Synthesis Coding. I read the introduction of the book.

Week 4 (2020-09-22): Reached out to professor Zhoa Feng and re read chapters 5-6.

Week 3 (2020-09-15): Worked on my website. Read chapters four five and six and took notes. Was introduced to CUDA and KiCad.

Week 2 (2020-09-8): Fixed my website and installed GTKwave.

Week 1 (2020-09-1): Read Chapters one, two and three. Downloaded GHDL
