After rediscovering his passion for theatrical performance through completing the 'Acting - an Introduction (Stage 1)' short course at Arts University Bournemouth under Charmaine K. Parkin, Daniel has since developed his craft through securing lead roles in two short films, and successfully been admitted to the National Youth Theatre for the Epic Stages membership course, which he completed throughout August 2025 in Sidcup, London.
During this intensive three-week course, Daniel collaborated in devising and performing an original ensemble play Scenes From The Invasion, directed by Richard Weinman & Matt Harrison, and written by James Fritz (Four Minutes Twelve Seconds, The Flea).
He is now officially a member of The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, enabling him access to NYT production auditions and other opportunities. Since then, Daniel has appeared as Michael in an adaptation of Oliver Lansley's Immaculate at the Apollo Theatre in Newport, and as Ben Jacobs in The Souvenir at the Trinity Theatre, Cowes.
Butterfly Man (2025) depicts the story of a father and son, as they attempt to mend their distant relationship through the quiet, delicate act of pinning butterflies together.
Roots (2025) is a retro-futuristic short film where a man’s desire for control over his wife slowly unravels, revealing the cracks beneath a polished, artificial world.
Having developed this monologue during the Acting (Stage 1) short course at AUB, Daniel went on to use it as his chosen piece for both his initial self-tape audition and digital recall audition for the National Youth Theatre, eventually being successful and earning him a place within the 2025 intake.
