I am an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Villanova University
Research Interests: My research focuses on two areas: optimal transport theory and partial differential equations (PDEs). For optimal transport theory, I am interested in its intersection with other fields such as but not limited to control theory, game theory, economic theory, number theory and machine learning. For PDEs, I am interested in controllability and optimal control issues as well as building observers to maintain system operation. In both cases I strive for both theoretical and numerical results.
I received my Ph.D. and MSc. degrees from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Queen's University under the supervision of Professor Bahman Gharesifard. Between August 2022 and May 2025, I was a Limited-Term Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Georgia, Athens under the mentorship of Professor Weiwei Hu.
