As an Assistant Branch Manager, he oversaw teams of senior advisors and was instrumental in recruiting and mentoring new professionals.


In 2008, Dan joined his current firm, where his leadership, strategic mindset, and passion for client success have been central to the team’s continued growth and reputation for excellence.

Before joining his current firm, Dan spent over eleven years as Vice President at Morgan Stanley, where he honed his expertise in portfolio management, investment analysis, and high-net-worth advisory services. His time there refined his leadership style and taught him the value of balancing strategic foresight with client empathy.


Throughout his career, Dan has guided financial professionals toward success through training initiatives, mentorship, and team development programs. His legacy is defined not only by the assets he manages but also by the professionals he has inspired.


Educational Background and Professional Credentials


Dan’s pursuit of academic and professional excellence has shaped his distinguished career. He earned the Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM) designation through Columbia University’s Fu Foundation School of Engineering in collaboration with the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers (ACPM). His coursework focused on quantitative finance, fintech integration, and advanced portfolio theory.


He also completed the Certified Private Wealth Advisor Program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and pursued graduate studies at Harvard University Extension School.


Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the City University of New York (CUNY), with a specialization in Public Administration. He was awarded a fellowship with the New York State Assembly and Senate in Albany, later serving as a Legislative Assistant supporting Judiciary, Corporation, and Education Committees.


He holds Series 7, 9, 10, 31, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as a Life Insurance license, enabling him to serve clients in more than 30 states, including New York, California, Florida, and Texas.

Dan believes in giving back to the communities he serves. He has held numerous civic roles, including Chairman of the Board of Adjustments for the Meadowlands and Secaucus region, appointed by the Mayor and City Council. He has represented the town on the Super Bowl Committee and was twice elected by neighbors to his condominium board, where he served as Treasurer and community liaison.


Beyond public service, Dan supports multiple charitable, civic, and fraternal organizations that promote education, youth programs, and community development. Ladner was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of Homes for Vets, an organization devoted to funding initiatives that enhance the safety and accessibility of housing for U.S. Military Veterans.
