ABOUT ME

Daniel Kofi Aboagye is my name. I am a Communication Design student in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology-Kumasi, GHANA. I am someone who is really passionate about the things I plan to do. I am an interesting, fun loving guy with a good sense of humor. One thing about me that is important to know though is that at first I come of as a very shy individualistic guy but once I get to know people and am comfortable with my environment, I am great. It is hard for me to make friends but once I make them, its great and I am all different. I joke, laugh, very kind, compassionate, sensitive guy. I have a tough shell but on the inside I am soft. I am also a very principled person and stand strong on what is right and wrong. I am also a very straight and honest person.

I really love to advertise and market. I like to create and come up with some ideas which are innovative and can cause a change to the society in general. I major in advertising and media Management, and also have a good knowledge in graphic designing and multimedia graphics. I like taking up challenging tasks which pushes me to come up with varied and tough ideas in solving problems. Some courses I have taken in school includes; communication skills, Basic Design, Graphic Design, African Art and Culture, Visual communication, Public Relation, Graphic Design Production, Marketing, Advertising and Promotion, Advertising Production, Photography, Digital Imaging(use of creative software's like Photoshop, illustrator and the like) and several ones. All these courses has really shaped my life in becoming who i really want to be in few years to come. One thing I always have in mind is that, I can change the world, and to do that I need to set long term plans and go by them. Another aspect of me is that, I have an excellent communication skills in terms of making presentations, speaking to clients, working with a team. This qualities are all shaping me in becoming a better person.

I won an award in Senior High School as the 2nd best Core Mathematics student in 2012(St.Johns Grammar SHS- Accra). I have been in the teaching field as a Mathematics teacher for Junior High pupils. With hard-work and humility, I was able to make my students come out with the best grades ever. With that, I had an award as the best teacher(2014). I have also had that opportunity to work with several people in groups in school to draft reports and come up with PowerPoint presentation documents. These are some of the experiences and skills I have acquired, more to it.
