DANIELE TIBERIO

SHORT BIO

Since March 2025 I am a postdoctoral research fellow at University of Padova, as a member of the STARS Starting Grant 2023 NewFrac, supervised by Giorgio Stefani. Before I was a postdoctoral research fellow at University of Padova, supervised by Professor Giovanni Colombo.

In December 2024, I received a Ph.D. degree in Mathematical Analysis, Modelling and Applications from SISSA (Trieste, Italy), under the supervision of Professor Antonio Lerario and Professor Luca Rizzi. The thesis has been awarded the SISSA Lutman prize 2025 for the best PhD thesis in Mathematics. 

In September 2020 I received a master's degree in Mathematics from University of Pisa supervised by Professor Valentino Magnani. The thesis has been awarded the "con.Scienze prize 2021/2022" (see here for the announcement and for a summary of the thesis, unfortunately in italian).

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Sub-Riemannian geometry, real algebraic geometry, infinite dimensional geometry.
