His main research interests include financial innovation, digital transformation models in the banking sector, corporate governance, and financial market efficiency. His research has also focused on value relevance in the financial sector, developing a new valuation method for banks known as the "Asset-Mark-down Model" (Beltrame, Previtali, 2016). His work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Banking & Finance, International Review of Financial Analysis, Journal of International Financial Management & Accounting, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, Global Finance Journal, and Finance Research Letters.
