Daniel C. Russell
I am a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Arizona.
My background is in ancient philosophy, and my work focuses on how individuals and groups find ways to improve the quality of life. More specifically, my central interests include:
- the nature of human well-being and what it is to live well,
- virtue, moral development, and how people do better at living their lives, and
- the political, economic, and other social institutions that enable people to lead richer lives.
