Welcome to my personal Website.

I'm a Ph.D. in Public Management and Social Policy from Universidad de Baja California in Mexico, where I conducted an analysis of multilevel governance in the public management of tourism in Colombia. My advisors were Gabriel Tapia Tovar, Ph.D. in Applied Economic Modeling, and Miguel Ángel Vitae, Ph.D. in Sociology. Currently, I am pursuing my second Ph.D. in Social and Human Sciences at one of my alma maters, Universidad Industrial de Santander in Colombia. Here, under the guidance of Raquel Mendez Ph.D. in Social Sciences and Jossefa Ramoni Ph.D. in Economics, I aim to construct an econometric model that allows me to understand the causal relationship between Colombia's strategic tourism security plan and the tourism competitiveness of 33 Colombian territories (32 departments and the capital city, Bogota).

My research lines are clearly defined: Sustainable Development, Territorial Planning, Public Policies, Tourism, Participatory Methodologies. On this Website you will find some information about my academic activities.

Please, if you have any questions feel free to contact me by e-mail.
