A synagogue-to-synagogue initiative from the Daniel Centers for Progressive Judaism
At this critical moment for world Jewry and their connection to Israel, Kesher La’Atid is bringing Reform congregations together — across Israel and the Diaspora — to strengthen ties, foster dialogue, and deepen our shared commitment to Jewish Peoplehood.
For too long, Israelis and North American Jews have spoken at each other, or even past each other. Kesher La’Atid offers a bold alternative: a peer- and congregation-based network rooted in empathy, conversation, and a shared vision for Reform Judaism.
As spiritual leaders, our responsibility to Jewish history, heritage, and future demands us to join together. Our communities need it. Now is our time to rise and build bridges that last.
Kesher La’Atid gives spiritual leaders and congregations opportunities to connect with Israeli Reform Judaism through learning, dialogue, and shared experiences. This includes:
Our rabbis will tailor to your congregation’s interests. Possible topics include:
The Israeli Reform perspective on Gaza and the West Bank
Building a shared society in Israel today
What Reform Judaism looks like in Israel
Torah study sessions and more

Now in its 11th year, Shonim Be’Yachad (“Embracing our Differences”) has sparked cooperation and dialogue on very challenging topics that Israeli society grapples with. These are issues that go beyond borders and are being faced in Europe and North America. That’s why we have translated and adapted the curriculim for English speaking audiences. This six-lesson curriculum explores diversity, inclusion, and embracing the other through Jewish texts, values, and art.
If you’re wanting to bring this program to your congregation, we’d work to further tailor the currilum to your needs so your Hebrew school students can create artwork inspired by their learning, and submit their pieces to our Shonim competition alongside students in Israel.
If timing permits, we can also plan your exhibit to coincide with our rabbi's Limmud weekend making it a transformative community event that blends learning, dialogue, and celebration.
