Nuo Jin (Daniel)

I am a Research Fellow at Brunel Centre, a pioneering research institution co-founded by University of Bath, UWE Bristol, and Future West. Before joining Brunel Centre, I served as a Research Fellow at City-REDI, University of Birmingham. I graduated from Cardiff University with PhD in Economics. My research focuses on improvements of regional economic growth, corporate innovation, transportation, and integration.

I am an active member of Regional Studies Association and European Economic Association. I am an AFEHA holder with 3-year experience of teaching. I also work as an anonymous reviewer for Regional Studies, Regional Science.

Born in Shanghai and having lived in the US and UK, I know a lot about diversity, equality, and inclusion in academia. My hometown also benefits from great regional integration since the 1980s with one of the largest urban areas and high-speed-rail networks in the world. I hope to learn from such experience and contribute to regional studies.
