About me
I am a cellist trained at the Faculty of Music of UNAM, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree with Honours and subsequently a Master’s degree in Musical Performance. My career combines performance, research, and musical creation. I have been a member of ensembles such as the Orquesta Filarmónica Mexiquense and the Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil Carlos Chávez, and I have performed as a soloist and with different ensembles in Mexico and Europe. My interests as a performer encompass both instrumental tradition and the exploration of new ways of understanding and developing musical performance. In my lessons, I aim for each student to develop their own relationship with the instrument, progressively working on aspects such as technique, sound, musicianship, and interpretation, always according to their goals and needs.
