ABOUT

I grew up in North East Scotland, and became a fan of crooner music, and Musical Theatre. I trained in Musical Theatre in Manchester,  and found myself performing in London's West End, and on UK tours.

I moved back to Aberdeenshire and began singing with 'Ocean's 3', a trio of crooners who still perform together regularly, and I am also delighted to be a performer with entertainment company Right Here Productions, as a singer, actor, writer, and sometimes a corpse.

I've also been lucky enough to be involved in theatrical productions as writer, and director. I took a show i had written with my good friend Alison to Edinburgh Fringe in 2011, and the two of us co-directed Aberdeen Student Show 2015, and have been invited to write the show in 2024, 2025, and the next show in 2026. It's a real honour.

During lockdown in 2020, i started an album project called 'Swingify', and with my amazing team of arrangers, musicians, singers and producers, I was delighted to release the album in 2023. To date, songs from Swingify (which include Big Band covers of 'Take On Me', 'Genie In A Bottle' and 'Philadelphia Freedom') have been streamed more than 30,000 times across the world on all platforms. Taylor Swift clearly has some competition.
