INTRODUCTION
Dang Guli 3D: Gilli Danda (the "App") is developed and published by DevsBrain Games ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Android and iOS versions of the App.
The App does not require an account, sign-in, real name, email address or phone number. Your game progress stays on your device. Two Google services process data through the App: Google AdMob, which provides the advertising that keeps the App free, and Google Firebase, which runs the optional online 1v1 matches.
THE SHORT VERSION
Your scores, records, power-ups and settings are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the App. Online 1v1 matches use an anonymous player ID and the player name you type; match data is temporary. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising identifier and IP address to show and measure ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time in the App's Settings > Privacy settings. Reminder notifications are created on your device and nothing about them is sent to us. We do not sell personal information.
INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
To make the game work, the App saves the following locally on your device: best score, longest hit and other records; power-ups you own; music, sound-effect and reminder settings; the player name you choose for online play; your online win and loss record; and a short summary of your last match, used for reminders.
This information is not transmitted to us. Uninstalling the App (or clearing its data) deletes it.
ONLINE 1v1 PLAY (GOOGLE FIREBASE)
Online matches are optional and use Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Firebase Realtime Database), part of Google LLC. When you play online:
- Firebase creates an anonymous player ID for your device. It is not linked to your name, email address or Google account.
- The player name you type (1 to 16 characters) is shown to your opponent. You do not have to use your real name.
- While you play, your opponent's device receives your score, the result and distance of each hit, and whether you are still connected. When you play with a friend, a 4-digit room code is used to join the match.
This data is used only to run the match. A room code is removed when your friend joins (or stops working after 30 minutes), and match records are deleted when the match ends. If a match is interrupted, for example because a phone loses its connection, leftover match records may remain until they are cleared; they contain only the items listed above. There is no chat, friends list or public profile.
To provide Firebase, Google processes technical information such as your IP address and device information. See "Privacy and Security in Firebase" (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy).
FRIEND INVITES
The "Share invite" button opens your device's standard share sheet with a message containing your player name, the room code and an invite link. It runs only when you tap it; the App does not read your contacts, and we never see what you share or with whom. The invite link opens a small web page on games-9233e.web.app (Google Firebase Hosting); like any website, the hosting service receives your IP address and browser information to deliver the page.
ADVERTISING (GOOGLE ADMOB)
The App displays interstitial ads between innings and optional rewarded video ads (which you choose to watch, for example for a power-up or an extra life) through Google AdMob, part of Google LLC. To serve and measure these ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect: your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS - on iOS only if you allow tracking); IP address and the approximate location derived from it; device model, operating system version, language and screen size; the App's package name and version; and ad interaction data such as impressions, clicks, and whether a rewarded video was completed. On supported Android devices, Google may also use Android Privacy Sandbox features (Topics and attribution reporting).
Google uses this data to select ads, measure their performance, limit how often you see the same ad, and detect fraud. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and in "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
Personalised ads use your advertising identifier to show ads based on your interests. Non-personalised ads use only contextual information (such as the game you are playing and your approximate location).
YOUR CONSENT AND CHOICES
European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: before any ad is requested, the App shows Google's consent message. You may decline personalised advertising and still use the App; you can review or change your choice at any time in the App's Settings > Privacy settings. Our legal basis for personalised ads is your consent; for non-personalised ads, ad measurement and fraud prevention it is our legitimate interest in funding a free app. For online play, our legal basis is providing the feature you asked to use.
iOS: personalised ads require the App Tracking Transparency permission. You can change it at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalisation, in Android Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads).
United States: residents of states with privacy laws (including California) may opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising using the device controls above. We do not sell personal information ourselves.
REMINDER NOTIFICATIONS
You may allow optional reminder notifications (up to four a day, for example to finish an innings or to take revenge in a 1v1). They are scheduled entirely on your device from your saved game progress; nothing is sent to us or to any server. On Android 13 and later the App asks for notification permission first. You can turn reminders off in the App's Settings > Reminders, or revoke the permission at any time in your device settings.
PERMISSIONS
The App uses: internet and network access (online play and ads); notifications, vibration and "run at startup" (to show reminders and restore them after the phone restarts); and the advertising ID (used by Google AdMob as described above). The App does not use your precise location (GPS), camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.
CHILDREN
The App is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used online play or provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Game data on your device can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing its data. Online match data is removed automatically as described above; you can also email us to ask for deletion (please include your player name and roughly when you played). Advertising data collected by Google is retained according to Google's policies; you can limit or reset it using the advertising-ID controls described above and at My Ad Center (https://myadcenter.google.com).
SECURITY
All communication between the App and Google's services is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to online match data is restricted by security rules so that only signed-in players, and only the players in a match, can change it. Your local game data is kept in the App's private storage area, which other apps cannot read.
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Google may process advertising and online-play data on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Most of these rights can be exercised through the device and Google controls described above; for anything else, contact us at the address below and we will help.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at the link provided in the App's store listing. This version is effective from 27 September 2026.
