I am currently a Professor and PI with the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth.
Before joining CAS, I have been a Research Scientist and led a working group: Spectral Vision at Remote Sensing Technology Institute (IMF), German Aerospace Center (DLR)
I was an Adjunct Scientist with GIPSA-Lab, Grenoble INP, CNRS, Université Grenoble Alpes.
I was also appointed as an AI consultant in the project of Helmholtz AI Cooperation Unit (HAICU)
I received the Dr. -Ing degree (summa cum laude) from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) Munich, Germany, in 2019, supervised by Prof. Xiao Xiang Zhu (IEEE Fellow), Prof. Jocelyn Chanussot (IEEE Fellow), and Prof. Naoto Yokoya.
