Dane Barbo, a Tehama County native, has a diverse and impressive musical background. With over a decade of teaching experience, Dane is known for his patience and ability to work effectively with students of all ages and abilities, including those with neurodivergent needs and disabilities. He now teaches at Guitar Center as a music instructor, complementing his extensive private lesson experience.

Dane is also a proud father to two children, Salem and Ryder, who have inherited the family’s musical talent. While his favorite instrument is the drums, Dane is highly skilled across a range of instruments, including drums, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, and piano, making him a versatile and accomplished music instructor.

Dane has performed in several notable bands, including Ed The Band, Olive City Rebels, and Bound. He currently plays both solo and with Punches The Clown. If you're a NorCal local, you may remember Dane and his bandmates from Ed The Band- they won the Battle of the Bands 16 years ago and graced numerous venues along the West Coast.
