Dandora Media Hub is a community-based organization that was formed by youth from Embakasi North sub-County

Aim to training, empower and create employment opportunities. Dandora Media Hub involves broadcasting what happens in our community, the media hub includes an online community television “36tv Dandora”, and community online radio “DEE RADIO”

MASK DISTRIBUTION

The year 2020 when COVID 19 hit Kenya we distributed over 5000 face mask to the community

Distributed food and handwashing soap to over 5000 family COVID 19 period of 2020/2021

TREE PLANTING

We planted 300 trees on Environmental day along Nairobi River and New ushirika Hospital and Ronald Ngala Primary

PADS DRIVE:

Pad 4 Girls Project-Aims at providing sanitary towels to vulnerable young girls from Dandora and mentorship program with a purpose to make young girls more aware about their body changes and relevant topics during the provision of sanitary towels, Dandora Media Hub organizes meetings to train them about HIV/AIDS, Reproductive Health and Personal Hygiene. Many young girls are disadvantaged. They find it hard to get sanitary towel and to avoid such shame they are convinced cheaply by boys who lure them to sexual affair in return they are given money in order to purchase sanitary towels. These put them at a risk of getting early pregnancies, STDs and even HIV/Aids. Some are forced to stay at home the whole week because they do not have funds to acquire sanitary towel. As a solution some girls use hazardous materials like newspapers or old rags, exposing themselves to infections.
