About DANDELION DISTRIBUTION

We distribute promotional materials, advertising fliers, coupons, swag, posters, and brochures
for advertising businesses

Dandelion Distribution was founded by owner Barbara Kronau-Sorensen on December 12, 2014.
The first channel of distribution - Zombies on Parade - began as an offshoot of an event Barb produces for Emerald City Music Productions, Inc. titled The Halloween Techno Zombie Geo Cache Hunt! (TM) . Barb needed a way to creatively engage the audience while advertising the event in hopes of selling more tickets. She also was tired of sitting behind a computer all day and craved exercise. Feeling like a computer zombie and being too busy to take time for exercise, she needed a way to "work " while exercising. Then the idea struck her that she could satisfy both needs by developing a parade unit which was fun, entertaining and appropriate for advertising her event. Thus Zombies On Parade was born. Barb scuffled grunted and groaned through her first parade as a Zombie on July 4th, 2015 and was very well received. Local small business owners were happy to have their items distributed in the parade while they enjoyed the holiday with their families - knowing they were in good hands of the Zombies.  Parade audiences loved the zombies cheering them on and having fun joking with them.  Since then, Barb has gathered other like minded actors, students, and fun loving characters who enjoy being Zombies and having fun with the audiences, or who enjoy traveling and distributing items while meeting new people and getting great exercise.

The second channel of distribution - Rose Runners - began as Barb's client base grew to include business owners whose religious and personal likes or beliefs did not include Zombies. They were in need of distribution for their items. Barb quickly formed Rose Runners to accommodate them. Soon the Rose Runners began running for many businesses across the northwest suburbs of metropolitan Chicago.

Since 2015, Dandelion Distribution has grown to include advertising businesses, distribution locations, and runners and zombies who distribute across northern Illinois, northern Indiana, southern Wisconsin and southern Michigan.

Are you ready for greater exposure for your company?

We are swift as the wind and "blow" the seeds to "friendly gardens" to spread the word about your business, product, new releases, services, and brands via our distribution channels (Rose Runners and Zombies On Parade).

By taking a cue from Mother Nature and one of our favorite flowers, we make it easy for you to stay focused on running your business and shining bright as the dandelion, while we take your promotional materials and do the grunt work of spreading them far and wide.

We research appropriate key locations, and seek permission from each before leaving your items for the patrons.

We also accept special distribution location requests for destinations within our routes or out of our normal routes. (extra fees may apply)

We plant your company's advertising "seeds" where they are welcome, by choosing "friendly gardens" carefully, to be sure your items are not seen as "weeds" and tossed out or mowed over.

Our "wind" scatters the seeds across northern Illinois, southern Wisconsin, northern Indiana, and southern Michigan.
