Jeff Brown has been practicing Chicago Steppin since 2007. Jeff has benefited from working with top Steppin instructors in the DC/MD area, Baltimore, Detroit and of course Chicago.
Jeff is the CEO of the Positive Dance Club and holds Chicago Steppin classes every Tuesday night from 6pm to 8pm at the VFW Lanham, 9800 Good Luck Rd, Lanham, MD 20706. Jeff also instructs Chicago Walking, Steppin trios and Detroit Urban Ballroom.

Norman Cherry, is one of the four pioneers to bring Chicago Steppin' to the DMV. He along with C.W. "Preach" Harris, Mickey Carpenter and Ron Moore first introduced the dance to this area in the early 2000s, and have been helping to grow the community since.
Norman has been steppin' for over 20 years and has received instruction from some of Chicago's best, including Charnice Simmons, Donnie Davis, Tyk Man, and Brian "SteppinB" Patterson.
In 2007, Norman and Paula Davis founded Metropolitan Steppers. Members are primarily made up of Federal Government employees, military both retired and active, as well as natives from Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, New York, Chicago, Gary, Detroit, and Indianapolis. Since 2008, MS has produced one of the DMV's premier annual steppin' events, Steppin' in our Nation's Capital, every October.
