Swing, Advanced Beginner Series - 2026

Taught by seasoned dance instructors & competitors: Carolyn & Bill Pedrick 

Series of three lessons 

Dates: Thursdays 2/5, 2/12, 2/26 

Time: 7-8:30 pm

Location: Plainfield Granary, 153 Main St, Plainfield VT 05667 

(blue building behind the Municipal Building/Town Clerks office, hall is upstairs) 

Admission: $50 for the series, or drop-in at $20/lesson 

• 1-hour lesson followed by a 30-minute practice session 

• Bring dance shoes or other clean shoes for the dance floor

• Knowledge of some basic beginner Swing figures is assumed 

• Come with/without a partner; folks will take turns in class 

• Arrive 10 minutes early to change shoes, etc 

Knowledge of basic beginner Swing figures assumed -- basic triple step, rotating basic, closed & open positions, outside & inside underarm turns, cuddle
