Dance Classes Offered​:

Integrative Dance Classes

Miss Lorraine and Miss Ashley are both certified Rhythm Works Integrative Dance instructors and are excited to start another session of classes this fall! Incorporating rhythm elements, visual aids, and a very personal teaching style, these small classes are designed to bring fun and appropriate dance to children with special needs and learning difficulties.

Musical Theater Dance

This style of dance is fun and encourages students to directly express the lyrics of songs with dance movements. Musical theater dance incorporates jazz and hip hop styles of dance to energetic and exciting music.

Hip Hop

Students are taught the basics of age appropriate hip hop dance movements to age appropraite (clean and edited) hip hop style music. This style encourages dancers to move freely and comfortably to the beat of the music. This class provides fitness and coordination while discovering a great American-born dance style.

Ballet

Ballet is known to be the chore of all forms of dance, as it provides fundamental basics for all movement and dance styles. For preschool age ballet dancers, we add creative movement in addition to ballet steps to encourage a creative balance for growing young minds and bodies.

Jazz

Students learning this legendary style of dance will learn techincal skills and expressive movement with upbeat music for a fun stylized class.

Lyrical and Contemporary

A blend of ballet and jazz, lyrical and contemporary movement derives from the lyrics in slower, emotive songs. It requires techincal skills as well as self expression and emotion through dance.
