Mrs. Raeauna Slusher

Mrs. Slusher bring over 12 years of experience as an educator, adjudicator and coach to the Eisenhower Dance program. She first served the program as an Assistant Director and was promoted to Head Director in 2021. Mrs. Slusher is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, where she earned a degree in Family & Consumer Sciences with an empahsis in Event Planning. During her time as Sam, she was a member of multiple organizations including the Orange Pride Dance Team and Program Council, and was a founding member of Royalty, a mentorship organization for young ladies in the Huntsville community. 

Mrs. Slusher's dance journey started as a member of the Klein Oak High School Dance program, where she was a member of the Klein Oak Strutters Dance/Drill Team, Klein Oak Dance Company, and was inducted in to the National Honor Society for Dance Arts. Mrs. Slusher continued her dance career professionally as a NFL Cheerleader for the Houston Texans. She is proud to have had the opportunity to dance with artists such as T-Pain, Blanco Brown, and Parmalee, has choreographed halftime performances for the HTC Junior Cheer program, and was received the Most Valuable Teammate award in her veteran season. 

Outside of the dance world, Mrs. Slusher enjoys spending time with her husband, who is an Eisenhower alumni, and their baby boy. Mrs. Slusher loves being apart of the Eisenhower community and looks forward to continuing to maintain the standard of excellence within the dance program. SWOOP!
