Neurodivergency Project

About Me:

I am a doctoral student pursuing a program in Transformative Learning in the Global Learning Community through Webster University. My research interests center around high impact experiential learning, particularly in a global context.

Based on years of experience working with personal and professional development strategies, I'm interested in the emerging field of Neurodivergency and meeting the needs of learners and individuals both inside the classroom and beyond. My research and educational philosophy centers around finding innovative ways to incorporate new research on brain-chemistry and neuroplasticity into existing pedagogy and intervention strategies among high-risk learners.

I am currently working as a HS ELA Teacher at Grand Center Arts Academy--an arts and STEM-focused urban Charter School in the Saint Louis Metropolitan Arts District.
