Dana Davies has lived primarily in Victoria, British Columbia, since 1980. Her background includes studies in photography and film, with a focus on set design and prop building. She later attended the Victoria College of Art, where her practice expanded to include painting, fine art textiles, illustration, sculpting, and mold making.

Dana has exhibited her work in local public and private galleries and is actively engaged in nonprofit community arts initiatives, valuing the role of art in fostering connection and accessibility. She is currently  a Member of the Board of Directors for the Victoria Arts Council.

As a vintage collector, she draws inspiration from playful, colourful imagery that evokes nostalgia, often exploring the intersection of traditional techniques and modern technology. Her work reflects an ongoing exploration of colour relationships and diverse media.
