I am a guitarist from Birmingham, I trained classically when I was younger from the ages of 6-10. I picked up guitar again when I was 16 when the UK was going into lockdown. When I started playing again was mainly the blues; I started by learning the greats, such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, BB King, Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughan. After focussing all my interest into the blues, I started to find interest in other genres of guitar-based music the next genre I taught myself to play was hard rock and heavy metal. the main bands i was learning were Motley Crue, Metallica, Megadeth, Ratt, Black Sabbath and Def Leppard. Around this time, I applied to go to university so I could expand my knowledge of music and learn the ability to record and mix my own music as well as learn some producing skills. While I was at university, I expanded my music taste and started to create different styles of music, notably experimental music using guitar.
My main inspirations that influence my music are bands and artists such as; Nine Inch Nails, Prince, and Black Sabbath. I like to try and mix the creative production styles of these artists with my playing style to create a very mixed style of music.
In my spare time I spend a lot of time working on guitars, not just playing them. but maintaining them and repairing them when needed. I am learning how to currently install pickups and how to wire a whole guitar up so it will work correctly without any issues such as; grounding problems and dirty volume and tone pots. I have worked on my own instruments and the instruments in my band; To The Dogs. As well as some friends instruments.
