FOCUS AND SCOPE
Dan-ag Journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the School of Education, Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan. The journal is committed to advancing scholarship in education theory, practice, and research, with particular emphasis on contextualized, transformative, and inclusive education in the Philippines and similar global contexts.
The journal seeks to foster interdisciplinary and critical discourse on education that aligns with the university’s mission of forming competent, compassionate, and socially engaged educators and scholars.
We welcome manuscripts that explore (but are not limited to) the following areas:
Pedagogical innovations and instructional strategies
Curriculum development and assessment
Teacher education and professional development
Inclusive and special needs education
Educational leadership and policy
Indigenous and culturally responsive education
Language and literacy education
Digital learning, EdTech, and 21st-century skills
Values formation and Jesuit education
Action research and classroom-based studies

Original research articles
Action research and case studies
Submissions must demonstrate scholarly rigor and relevance to the field of education, particularly within the Philippine, Mindanaoan, or Southeast Asian context, though contributions with global applicability are also encouraged.

Our journal focuses on various scopes in General and Professional Education, but welcomes high-quality submissions that contribute to broader educational discourse.

We are currently accepting submissions for our upcoming issues! We actively encourage educators and researchers to submit their original manuscripts that contribute to the ongoing dialogue in innovative teaching strategies, technology integration in lesson planning, and instructional models and design. We welcome submissions on a variety of topics related to higher education teacher education institution trends and issues.
