As technology continues to advance, the interplay between human factors and cybersecurity becomes increasingly crucial. Human vulnerabilities, stemming from cognitive biases, social engineering tactics, and usability challenges, present significant obstacles in maintaining robust cybersecurity measures. This workshop aims to delve into these challenges and explore innovative solutions and methodologies for assessing and mitigating human vulnerability in the cybersecurity landscape.
We encourage researchers and practitioners from the fields of HCI and Cybersecurity to submit their work and join us in this collaborative effort to address the critical aspects of human vulnerability in cybersecurity.
WORKSHOP TOPICS
We invite submissions on a broad spectrum of topics related to HCI, cybersecurity, and human vulnerability assessment and mitigation, including but not limited to:
User-Centered Design for Cybersecurity
Visual Interfaces for Cybersecurity
Social Engineering Attacks and Countermeasures
Usability and Security Trade-offs
Cognitive Biases and Human Decision-Making in Cybersecurity
User Awareness and Training Programs
