C'era una volta...
Il basso e il canto, ovvero Cristiano Da Ros e Gabriella D’Amico, si incontrano per caso,
su un palco, a Milano. Ma il caso non esiste. Contrabbassista e bassista jazz l’uno,
cantante dai trascorsi classici, ma con un piede nel jazz l’altra, si conoscono, si annusano,
capiscono di avere molto da condividere e da offrire e danno vita ad InDArootsProject, un
progetto che tornando alle radici del suono, il basso e il canto, le arricchisce di sonorità
elettroniche ed elementi percussivi.
Nell’ambito di questo progetto, rientrano Shades of Freedom (2016), Di Crepe, di Sogni, di
Futili Desideri (2021) e, a breve, prodotto da Black Candy, il terzo disco, Feeling, Bleeding,
Rising, Shining.
Testi accattivanti, armonie che strizzano l’occhio al jazz, elettronica che rimanda ad
atmosfere surreali e psichedeliche, tutto concorre a rendere InDArootsProject un prodotto
unico nel suo genere, coinvolgente e adatto a palati raffinati, ma anche semplicemente ad
anime belle appassionate di musica.

Once upon a time...
Bassist and vocalist, Cristiano Da Ros and Gabriella D’Amico, meet by chance on a stage
in Milan. But nothing happens by chance. He is a jazz double bassist and bassist; she is a
singer with a classical background, but with one foot in jazz. They meet, size each other
up, realize they have much to share and to offer, and give life to InDArootsProject.
This project returns to the roots of sound—the bass and the voice—and enriches them
with electronic textures and percussive elements.
This project includes Shades of Freedom (2016), Di Crepe, di Sogni, di Futili Desideri
(2021) and, soon to be released and produced by Black Candy, their third album, Feeling,
Bleeding, Rising, Shining.
With captivating lyrics, harmonies that nod to jazz, and electronics that evoke surreal and
psychedelic atmospheres, everything works together to make InDArootsProject a unique
product: engaging, suited for refined tastes, but also simply for beautiful souls passionate
about music.
