ANC CLINIC
Dhanwantari Ayurved Medical College and Hospital in Udgir, Maharashtra, is a reputable institution for Ayurvedic education and healthcare. Established in 2000, it's affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM). The college offers a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) course with 60 seats available.
Special OPD of ANC (Antenatal Care) started from the date of establishment of college in our hospital.
INTRODUCTION:
The Special OPD of ANC is a dedicated clinic that provides comprehensive care and management of pregnant women. It provides special care and aims to complication free pregnancy period and delivery with minimal aids. Our team of experienced healthcare professionals utilizes advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques to deliver personalized treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and improved quality of life.
OBJECTIVES:
Ø Provide specialized care for patients with pregnancy.
Ø Offer advanced diagnostic and therapeutic options.
Ø Improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
Ø Educate patients and caregivers about Antenatal care and fruitful outcome of pregnancy.
Ø To teach do’s and don’ts during pregnancy.
Ø To make aware of factors causing high risk pregnancy.

Ø Comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis.
Ø Medical and surgical treatment options. (FTND with Episiotomy, FTLSCS)
Ø Minimally invasive procedures. (e.g. Full Term Normal Delivery)
Ø Patient education and counselling.
Ø Follow-up care and management.

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Special OPD of ANC CLINIC
1. Purpose
To ensure efficient and effective management of patients with ANC in the Special OPD.
2. Scope
This SOP applies to all healthcare professionals and staff working in the Special OPD for ANC.
3. Responsibilities
- Doctors: Diagnose and treat patients with ANC
- Nurses: Assist doctors, provide patient care, and maintain records.
- Support Staff: Manage patient registration, scheduling, and records.
4. Procedure
1. Patient Registration:
- Register patients with ANC in the Special OPD.
- Collect relevant medical history and records.
2. Initial Assessment:
- Conduct a thorough examination to diagnose the condition.
- Document patient history and examination findings.
- Identify High Risk patients
3. Diagnosis and Treatment:
- Diagnose High risk patients based on clinical examination and investigations.
- Plan treatment according to diagnosis, including medications, procedures, or surgery.
