Hassan Jameh
Head Instructor for Children and Adults at Damascus Ki-Aikido Club
Hassan has practiced both Ki-Aikido and Aikikai since the very beginning of his martial arts journey, with continuous dedication throughout his years in Sweden. His direct instructors include Mattias Levin, Lennart Gullberg, Johan Ahlberg, Thomas Rydell, Jan Eriksson, and Joachim von Rost, whose guidance has shaped his practice and teaching approach.
He trained extensively at Eskilstuna Ki-Aikido Club, where he served as Chairman of the Board (Styrelseordförande) for two years, and he now continues as an active Board Member (Styrelseledamot). Hassan also acts as the main contact person for Aikido-related inquiries in Arabic within the club, helping to bridge Swedish Aikido with Arabic-speaking practitioners.
Hassan is a certified physical trainer, having completed HLR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and ABC emergency courses for both adults and children. His certifications make him highly skilled in responding to emergency situations, adding another layer of safety and preparedness to his teaching. Additionally, Hassan is recognized as an instructor by the Swedish Aikido Federation, further cementing his expertise in the martial arts community.
Hassan’s teaching follows the style and principles of Kenjiro Yoshigasaki’s Ki-Aikido, which emphasize harmony, awareness, and the integration of mind and body. Known as a fast learner with a cheerful and positive spirit, he brings energy, clarity, and inclusiveness to both children and adult classes.
