equipment information

For players rostered on the Dallastown Area High School Boys Lacrosse Team, the school will provide all necessary protective equipment, as well as game uniform(s) and practice pinnie(s). Protective equipment includes the following:

• Helmet

• Shoulder/Chest Pads

• Arm Guards or Pads

• Gloves

Players are responsible for school-issued equipment. The school does not assume responsibility for lost or stolen items.

Players are given the option of using/purchasing their own equipment if they choose, with the exception of the helmet. Players must use the school-issued helmet.

Personal equipment must meet the following regulations:

• All equipment must meet all NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations) and PIAA (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association) rules and regulations.

• All equipment must be in good condition and compliant with all rules (i.e., no holes in gloves, appropriate protective should pads, proper fit, etc.)

• All equipment must be school colors. When purchasing/ordering, a NAVY version is the only acceptable option. Royal Blue is not acceptable.

There may be some exceptions as approved by the head coach (i.e., arm pads or shoulder pads may be black, grey or white). If you are not sure if something is appropriate or acceptable, please ask PRIOR to purchase.

Players will need to purchase their own cleats/spikes (black or white cleats are acceptable). The cleats may have blue, white, grey or black accent colors. If you have a question, please contact the head coach prior to purchase.

The school will have equipment available for players that do not purchase their own equipment. Purchasing your own equipment is OPTIONAL and will have no bearing on whether or not you make the team.
