The Kids Dash is a .25 mile loop around a city block. Children will be directed to run on the road when running on Academy and Robb. They then will be directed to run on the sidewalk when running on Oak and Church. You are able to run with your child or line up along the course and cheer them on. All Kids 6 and under that compete in the Kids Dash will receive a Glow Run Medal. After the Kids Dash, children are encouraged to join you during your 5k Run/Walk.

The 5k course begins on Academy St next to the Academy Building and ends in the Academy Building parking lot. The course takes you through Dallas city neighborhoods and the Dallas City Park.
