Missing class: If you need to miss class unexpectedly, email your campus InfoCentral (see below) and CC your chair. Request that InfoCentral post signs on the classroom doors for each class you will miss. Be sure to provide the level and section, days and times, and room number in your email. Then, email your students to let them that you will be out and what the expectations are for the missed class day, such as online activities. For a planned absence, contact your chair, set up signage with InfoCentral, and prepare your students in advance.
Being late to class: If you are going to be more than a few minutes to class, email your campus InfoCentral (see below). Request that InfoCentral post signs on the classroom door. Please also email your students and inform them of the situation and give an approximate time of arrival.
Class meetings in a different location: If you are having your class meet in a different location, such as the Learning Commons, contact both your chair and InfoCentral for signage in advance.
Requesting room changes
Acquiring office and classroom supplies: Stop by your campus InfoCentral to request office and classroom supplies.
Textbooks: Most textbooks are provided digitally through Brightspace (also known as eCampus). You can access your textbooks by logging into Brightspace, entering any of your assigned classes, and clicking on "More" on the top blue navigation ribbon and then chosing "Learning Materials." This will open up an online "bookshelf" that will show all the textbooks you are currently using.
