Research

I am an Early Career Researcher with a keen interest in innovation diffusion, firm patenting, cross-border investments, and research and innovation policies. I have extensive experience in advanced quantitative techniques, using large datasets such as PATSTAT and ORBIS.

My expertise spans across various aspects of international business and innovation, including the diffusion of environmental innovations, the generation of knowledge spillovers across different regions and periods, and the determinants of firms’ productivity and location decisions. My specialized skills in firm patenting and cross-border investments strengthen the analytical foundation of my projects.

I have conducted research in collaboration with the ESRC Made Smarter Innovation and the IRC, focusing on research and innovation policies for the manufacturing industry. My scholarly work has been published in notable journals like Research Policy, World Development, and Economics Letters, where I share my findings and contribute to the broader academic and practical discussions in my field.
