I believe for both projects I used the 3D stager in Adobe. For my first one, I used an already generated scene and added to it.
i.e the cup, phone, books, etc.
I just wanted to see what I could do with the program. I manually manipulated the cup to look like it was in the middle of spilling, I added textures like the Pepsi logo, the color of the drink, and the phone case (even though it is not visible in this angle).
In this project, I started with a wood floor and added things as I went.
Most of the textures I found on Google (the scene from Spongebob, the text in the book, the Minecraft bag, etc) and I spent the time making it look lived in, like a 6-8-year old child was simply chilling out in their room until dinner was called and they left in a hurry.
I think both projects have their charm and if I were to redo them again I probably would manipulate the objects a little better to make it look more realistic. And if I found a way, I would add a wall to the second scene and more furniture in the back, just so it looks more alive.
