I am honoured and humbled to have been nominated to run for re-election for NLTA President for the 2027-29 Term. I would like to thank my colleagues for putting forth my nomination, thereby showing faith in my abilities to lead the association and serve as the voice of our profession in Newfoundland and Labrador. It is with great pride that I accept this nomination and I commit to hearing from teachers and teaching and learning assistants throughout my campaign.
The NLTA Electoral Committee provide opportunities for Q and A on important issues in the weeks leading up to the election. As well a Candidate's Forum is held in November which is livestreamed.
