About Dakshina Fernando
Dakshina Fernando received his Bachelor’s Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Sri Lanka in 2018 and his Master’s in Business Administration degree from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, UK in 2022.
From 2018 to 2022 he was a full-time Lecturer at the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Sri Lanka. Currently, he is reading for his Doctoral degree in Aerospace Engineering specializing in control systems at the School of Engineering, Monash University, Malaysia. He is also providing his expertise as a Senior Engineer at Bluestem Group of Companies, a leading Engineering solutions provider and R&D company in Australia.
Since 2017, he has been an Associate Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society, UK, and a Professional Member of the American Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His research areas deal with Aerospace system dynamics, Fault-tolerant control systems, Thrust vectored propulsion and Intelligence control.
