Layout Construction began in October 2024. The first two 8' "modules" are installed on the wall and leveled. 

After initial construction began, the remainder of the "modules" went up pretty quick. The ends are being supported on the outside edge with some temporary legs in this picture taken from the work area near the entrance of the room. A more sturdy leg system is being designed and built at the moment which is taking longer than it took to build all the benchwork so far. Pics coming soon once installed. 

A look from the far end of the room towards the entrance. The end on the left of the screen was actually lowered to the same height as the rest of the benchwork as I decided to make a few modifications to how the scenery would be done. As stated before, I had a general idea of what I wanted with the track plan but as far as the scenery is concerned there is still a lot to think about and I keep making modifications in my head of what I would like to see on the layout and how to best accomplish that vision. The picture above is where it was at the end of October 2024. My original module I built just to play around with trains a little bit and get my feet wet with scenery is sitting in the center of the room.
