Zahid Çataltaş built the Mgrs & Utm Map (Ad Supported) and Mgrs & Utm Map Pro (Paid & Ad-Free) apps. This SERVICE is provided by Zahid Çataltaş and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform visitors regarding policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, I may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that I request will be retained on your device and is not collected by me in any way.

The apps use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

• Google Play Services

• Google Analytics for Firebase

• Firebase Crashlytics

• AdMob (Only for the free version of Mgrs & Utm Map)

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation): If your location is covered by the GDPR, a consent form will be shown to you at the start of the application. You can update your permissions anytime via the in-app settings.

2. Permissions and Why We Need Them

• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION & ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: To show your real-time position on the map and provide coordinates (MGRS, UTM) and altitude.

• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: To load map images, retrieve altitude data, and (for the free version) display relevant advertisements.

• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To allow you to export and import KML files to/from your device.

3. Data Retention and Deletion (Mandatory Disclosure)

• Data Retention: We do not collect or store your personal data on our servers. Therefore, we do not retain your personal information. Any data processed (like location or files) stays locally on your device. Third-party providers retain data according to their own privacy policies.

• Data Deletion: You have full control over your data. You can delete all local data by uninstalling the app or by going to Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage > Clear Data.

• Requesting Deletion: If you wish to request the deletion of any data that might have been processed by third-party services, or have questions about your data, please contact us at zhdctlts@gmail.com. We will respond and assist with your request within 30 days.

4. Access and Collection of Health Data 

Our application DOES NOT access, collect, or share any Health Data.

• We do not use any sensors related to health (heart rate, body temperature, etc.).

• We do not collect medical records or fitness activity data beyond general location coordinates and altitude for mapping purposes.

• Any data related to altitude or movement is used solely for coordinate calculation and is not treated or stored as health or fitness information.

5. Log Data and Cookies

In case of an error, we collect "Log Data" through third-party products. This may include your device IP address, device name, OS version, and usage statistics. These Services do not use "cookies" explicitly. However, third-party libraries may use them to improve their services. You can refuse these cookies in your device settings.

6. Security and Service Providers

I value your trust and use commercially acceptable means of protecting your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We may employ third-party companies to facilitate our Service, but they are obligated not to disclose or use your information for any other purpose.

7. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If I discover a child under 13 has provided personal information, I immediately delete this from our servers.

8. Changes to This Policy

I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically. This policy is effective as of March 15, 2026.
