Account Data: If you choose to create an account, we securely store your email address and display name via Firebase Authentication to sync your favorite quotes across devices.
Usage Data: We track basic interactions (such as streaks, favorited quotes, and completed challenges) to personalize your app experience and improve our services.
Device Information: We do not track your exact location. We do not require or request access to your full photo gallery. When using our Photo Quote overlay feature, we use the secure Android System Photo Picker.
3. Third-Party Services & Advertising To keep the app free, we utilize third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Specifically, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements.
AdMob may use advertising identifiers (like the Android Advertising ID) and cookies to serve personalized advertisements based on your interests.
You can opt out of personalized ads at any time through your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization).
We also utilize Firebase (Google) for secure backend database hosting and analytics.
4. Permissions Used Our app only requests permissions that are strictly necessary:
Notifications: To send you optional daily motivation reminders at 07:00 and 19:00 locally.
Media & Storage: We use the MediaStore API to save your customized photo quotes directly to your "Pictures" folder without requiring broad READ permissions to your gallery.
5. Data Security & Deletion We use industry-standard security measures provided by Google Firebase to protect your personal data. However, remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account directly inside the app.
6. Children’s Privacy Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
