Daily Quotes ("we," "our," or "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and your choices.

No Account Required

Daily Quotes does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, or any other personal identifying information. When you first open the app, it creates an anonymous, randomly generated identifier. This identifier is used only to save your preferences and subscription status between app sessions. It is not linked to your real identity.

Information We Collect

App preferences. We store your favorite quotes, chosen categories, daily reminder time, language, default card design, and whether you have Premium access. This data is tied only to your anonymous identifier.

Quotes you create. Quote cards you make with the Create feature are generated on your device. Their text is not uploaded to our servers. An image is saved to your photo gallery only when you tap Download, and is shared only when you tap Share. The app asks for permission to save images to your gallery but does not read or collect your existing photos.

Purchase information. If you subscribe to Daily Quotes Premium, payment is processed entirely by Google Play or Apple's App Store; we never see or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives your anonymous identifier, your purchase and subscription history, and basic technical information (such as device type and IP address) to verify purchases and unlock Premium. Promotional codes. If you redeem a promotional code, we record which code was redeemed by your anonymous identifier, in order to grant Premium access.

Advertising data. For users without Premium, Daily Quotes shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as your device's advertising ID), approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about ad interactions, in order to show and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can also opt out of personalized ads in your device settings. Learn more at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Technical data. Our service providers may automatically receive standard technical information when the app connects to them, such as IP address and request logs, for security and to operate their services. The app itself does not include crash-reporting or analytics tools. Google Play and Apple may collect crash and performance data under their own privacy policies.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, existing photos, precise location, or any government-issued identifiers. We do not sell your personal data.

Third-Party Services We Use

Supabase (database and anonymous authentication): stores your anonymous profile and preferences. https://supabase.com/privacy

Age Requirement

Daily Quotes is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the app, contact us at the email below and we will delete the associated data.

Your Choices

Delete your data: In the app, go to Profile → Delete My Data. This permanently deletes your anonymous profile, favorites, and preferences from our servers and starts you fresh. You can also email us to request deletion.
Personalized ads: You can opt out through your device settings, or subscribe to Premium to remove ads entirely.
Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play or Apple ID account settings. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription.
Uninstalling the app removes all data stored locally on your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
