These terms and conditions apply to the SalahPro app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Ahmed Guedmioui (collectively, the "Application"). Ahmed Guedmioui is referred to here as the "Service Provider".
By downloading or using the Application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Application.
By accessing and using the Application, you represent that you are legally permitted to use it in your jurisdiction. You must be at least 16 years of age, or such higher age as applicable law requires, to use the Application. If you are below that age, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf.
The Application has no accounts and no sign-in. It does not allow you to post, upload, share or publish content, and it does not connect you to other users. Nothing you enter in the Application is visible to anyone else.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Service Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Application on a mobile device you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Application, except to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law. Any attempt to extract the source code of the Application, to translate it into other languages, or to create derivative versions is not permitted.
You also agree not to circumvent, disable or interfere with any part of the Application, including its subscription checks, its advertising, or the app-blocking mechanism described in Section 5.
The Service Provider retains all intellectual property rights in the Application, including its code, design, trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos and branding. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence or right to use the Service Provider's trademarks, logos or branding for any purpose. You agree not to remove, alter or obscure any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice displayed in or on the Application.
Qur'an text, translations and recitation audio are provided through third parties and remain the property of their respective rights holders. They are made available for your personal reading and listening only.
The Application offers its features through an auto-renewable subscription purchased from the Apple App Store.
Subscription terms. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis according to the plan you select at the time of purchase. The available plans, their durations and their prices are shown in the Application before you buy.
Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, payment is charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends. If the Application has notification permission, it will remind you shortly before a trial ends.
Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of any applicable free trial.
Cancellation. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
Restoring purchases. If you reinstall the Application or use a new device, you can restore an existing subscription from within the Application using the same Apple ID.
Price changes. The Service Provider may change subscription pricing. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply only to billing periods after you receive notice.
Refunds. Purchases are subject to the refund policy of the Apple App Store. The Service Provider does not process these payments and cannot issue refunds for them directly.
Where the Application is made available with a free tier, that tier may display advertising, as described in the Privacy Policy. Subscribers are not shown advertising.
Please read this section carefully. It describes the limits of what the Application can do.
Prayer times are calculated estimates. Prayer times are calculated by a third-party service from your location and a chosen calculation method. Calculation methods differ, and results can vary between conventions and from the determination of your local mosque or religious authority. The Application is a convenience aid, not a religious authority. Where accuracy matters to you, verify times against your local authority. The Service Provider does not warrant that any time shown is correct for your school of thought or locality.
Qibla direction depends on your device. The Qibla feature relies on your device's compass and location sensors. Accuracy can be affected by magnetic interference, nearby metal or electronics, device calibration and sensor quality. It is an aid to orientation, not a surveying or navigation instrument.
App blocking is not a security control. The app-locking feature uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks to limit access to apps you select during prayer windows. It is a self-discipline tool. It can be bypassed — for example by changing iOS settings, removing the Application, or using another device or browser. It is not a parental control, monitoring, or content-filtering product, and it must not be relied upon to restrict, supervise or surveil another person, or in any situation where failure to block could cause harm. You are responsible for choosing which of your own apps to lock and for any consequence of an app being unavailable while a lock is active, including missed calls, messages or notifications from those apps.
Alarms and notifications are not guaranteed. Prayer reminders and the optional Fajr alarm are scheduled locally by iOS. Delivery can be delayed, suppressed or prevented by Focus modes, Low Power Mode, silent or Do Not Disturb settings, notification permissions, device restarts, storage pressure or operating system behaviour outside the Service Provider's control. Do not rely on the Application as your only alarm for anything important.
It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device and your access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking your device, which removes restrictions imposed by the operating system. Doing so may expose your device to malware, compromise its security features, and may cause the Application not to function correctly or at all.
Because the Application stores your data on your device rather than on a server operated by the Service Provider, that data is not backed up by the Service Provider and cannot be recovered by the Service Provider if it is lost. Deleting the Application deletes the data it stored. Keeping a device backup is your responsibility.
Some functions of the Application require an active internet connection, over Wi-Fi or your mobile network. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity because of a lack of connectivity or an exhausted data allowance.
If you use the Application outside a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider's terms still apply. You may incur charges from your provider for data usage, including roaming charges if you use the Application outside your home territory without disabling data roaming. By using the Application you accept responsibility for such charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device, it is assumed you have that person's permission.
It is also your responsibility to keep your device charged. If your device runs out of battery and you cannot access the Application, the Service Provider cannot be held responsible.
The Application relies on third-party services, each governed by its own terms. Links are provided below.

The Service Provider does not control these services and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy or continued operation. If a third-party service changes or becomes unavailable, features that depend on it may stop working. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss you experience as a result of relying entirely on third-party information provided through the Application, or for inaccuracies in content provided by third parties.
How your personal data is handled is described separately in the Privacy Policy.
The Service Provider may update the Application from time to time. The Application is currently available for the operating system requirements stated on its App Store listing; those requirements may change, and you may need to install updates to keep using it. The Service Provider does not guarantee that it will always update the Application, or that it will remain compatible with the operating system version installed on your device.
You should accept updates when offered. If you choose not to, the Service Provider may cease to support earlier versions and the Application may not function properly.
The Service Provider may also modify the Application, change which features are free or paid, or stop providing the Application altogether. Where the Service Provider stops providing the Application, it will endeavour to give reasonable notice where practical, and any active subscription will be handled in accordance with Section 4 and the Apple App Store's policies. Upon any termination, the rights and licences granted to you under these Terms end, and you must stop using the Application and delete it from your devices.
The Service Provider may suspend your access to the Application if you materially breach these Terms. Where the breach is capable of cure, the Service Provider will notify you and you will have 14 days from receipt of notice to remedy it. If you do not, the Service Provider may terminate your access.
The Service Provider may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if you violate applicable law, infringe intellectual property rights, or attempt to circumvent the Application's subscription or technical protections.
You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the Application from your devices. Deleting the Application does not by itself cancel a subscription — cancel it in your Apple ID settings as described in Section 4.
Nothing in this Section affects your statutory rights.
The Application is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded under applicable law. The Service Provider does not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
The Service Provider retains full liability for:
death or personal injury caused by negligence;
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of the Service Provider for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Application in the 12 months preceding the claim, or the minimum amount that must be paid under applicable law, whichever is greater. If the Application is provided to you free of charge, the Service Provider's liability is limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or directly related to your breach of these Terms or your intentional misuse of the Application.
This indemnification does not apply to claims arising from the Service Provider's own negligence, breach of these Terms, or violation of applicable law. In jurisdictions where consumer indemnification is restricted by law, this clause is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service Provider is established, excluding conflict of law rules, except to the extent that mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be brought before the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in this clause limits any right you may have to bring a claim in a court that is competent under mandatory law.
The following applies because the Application is distributed through the Apple App Store:
These Terms are between you and the Service Provider only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Application or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the Application.
If the Application fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the Application.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the Application, including product liability claims, claims that the Application fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling or discharging any third-party claim that the Application infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Service Provider concerning your use of the Application, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
The Service Provider may update these Terms from time to time. You are advised to review this page regularly. The Service Provider will notify you of changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date.
