The DailyKicker app does not require users to create an account or log in to use the application features.

However, to provide core functionalities, the application requires certain device permissions and processes the following local data.

Information Accessed Locally

The following information is accessed and processed strictly on the user's device:

1. WhatsApp Notifications

The app uses the Notification Listener Service (BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE) to intercept incoming chat notifications from WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, and GBWhatsApp.

This is used solely to log and unmask messages in case the sender deletes them.

2. WhatsApp Status Media

The app uses the Storage Access Framework (SAF) and media permissions to read files located in Android status folders (e.g., .Statuses) to display photos and videos within the app.

Photos, Videos, and Device Media

The DailyKicker app may access photos and videos on your device when you use features that require media access.

WhatsApp Status Saver: The app accesses WhatsApp Status photos and videos so that you can preview, play, and save status media within the application.

Quote Image Creator: When you choose a photo from your device to use as a custom background for a quote image, the selected image is accessed on your device for the purpose of creating and sharing the quote image.

Local Processing: Photos and videos accessed through these features are processed locally on your device. DailyKicker does not intentionally upload your personal photos or videos to our servers.

The app only accesses media required for the features you choose to use, subject to the permissions or system media-picking mechanisms provided by Android.

Purpose of Access

The accessed information is used for:

• Unmasking and maintaining a local log of deleted WhatsApp messages.

• Previewing and displaying WhatsApp status images and videos inside the app.

• Allowing users to save status media directly to their gallery.

• Delivering daily 8:00 AM system push notifications (Slogan of the day).

Firebase Realtime Database

The application uses Firebase Realtime Database to retrieve live daily slogans and category updates.

When a user opens the app, the application connects to the Firebase Realtime Database to fetch the 365-day slogan content under the DailyKick/category/ database location.

Unlike other features that may collect user feedback, DailyKicker does not collect, request, or upload any user-generated content or personal information to our Firebase servers.

Firebase is strictly used in a "read-only" capacity to deliver app content.

Local Storage of Statuses and Deleted Messages

When users use the core features of the app, data is processed and stored locally on the user's device.

Status Saver

When a user chooses to save a status, the photo or video is stored directly in the device's internal storage at the following paths:

• Pictures/DailyKicker

• Video/DailyKicker

Deleted Messages

When the Notification Listener detects a deleted message, the logged text is stored in an internal SQLite database (notif.db) located within the app's private data folder.

This data is processed entirely on the device. It is never uploaded to the developer, transmitted to our servers, or shared with third parties.

Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

The application code described above does not request or collect the following information on our servers:

• Name

• Email address

• Physical location

• Contacts

• Financial information

• Passwords

Children's Privacy

This app is intended for general use, including users who may be under 18.

Because the application accesses notifications and local storage to function, we rely on the device's built-in permission system.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18 years of age on our servers.

Parents or guardians who have questions about the local data processed through the application may contact us using the contact information provided below.

Third-Party Services

The application uses:

• Firebase Realtime Database for retrieving slogan content.

• Google AdMob for displaying banner advertisements.

Information regarding your network state and device advertising ID may therefore be processed through Google's infrastructure to serve relevant ads and fetch database content.

Users should review Firebase and Google AdMob's applicable privacy information for details regarding the operation of these services.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the integrity of the app.

Because your saved statuses and recovered deleted messages never leave your phone, the security of this data relies entirely on the physical and software security of your own Android device.

No local data is transmitted over the Internet by our core features.

Data Retention

Information regarding deleted messages and saved statuses is retained locally on your Device.

You can permanently delete this information at any time by:

• Clearing the app's data in your Android Settings; or

• Manually deleting the saved media files from your gallery.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
