NexGen Creator ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Budget Tracker mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Financial data you enter manually: budget categories, transaction amounts, income, expenses, notes, and similar information you input yourself. The App does not link to your bank or financial institution accounts.
Account information: The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.
Receipt photos: images you choose to capture or upload using your device camera to attach to transactions.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Analytics and diagnostics: through Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, we collect app usage data, device identifiers, device model, operating system version, crash logs, and performance data.
Advertising data: through Google AdMob, we and Google may collect your advertising identifier and related data to serve ads. See Section 5.
1.3 Data Storage
Your data is stored both locally on your device and synced to cloud servers (Google Firebase) to enable backup and access across devices.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, operate, and maintain the App's budgeting features;
Sync and back up your data across your devices;
Display and personalize advertisements;
Analyze usage to improve performance, fix bugs, and develop features;
Respond to support requests;
Comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with these providers only as needed to deliver the services above.
4. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR / EEA Users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, we process your data under the following legal bases:
Consent for advertising identifiers and analytics.
Performance of a contract to provide the budgeting and sync features you request.
Legitimate interests to improve and secure the App.
You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 7).
5. Advertising
The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising ID and usage data to show personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings:
Android: Settings Google Ads "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (or reset your advertising ID).

6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as you use the App. Locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Cloud-synced data is retained until you delete your data or request deletion (see Section 7). Crash and analytics data are retained according to Google's retention periods.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you;
Correct inaccurate data;
Delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
Restrict or object to processing;
Export your data (data portability);
Opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information (we do not sell data);
Withdraw consent for ads or analytics.

Disable camera permissions in your device settings;
Reset or opt out of your advertising ID;
Delete your data from within the App's Settings, or email us at ismailhossain.swe93@gmail.com to request deletion;
Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data.
We will respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us at ismailhossain.swe93@gmail.com and we will delete it.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase/Firestore security rules. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country (e.g., Google's servers). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App and/or on our listing page and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
