# Daily Brain Privacy Policy
`GoounWorks` (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator") values the personal information of users of Daily Brain (hereinafter referred to as the "App") and establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy as follows in order to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
## 1. Information We Collect
The Operator may process the following information to provide the App, improve quality, respond to errors, and provide advertising.
### 1) Information stored directly on the user's device or generated during use of the App
- Language setting information
- Profile-related information
- Display name or nickname used within the App
- Game play records
- Game type
- Difficulty level
- Play start and end times
- Play duration
- Score
- Accuracy
- Number of mistakes
- Number of hints used
- Best records
- Consecutive play days and statistical information
The above information is primarily stored in local storage on the user's device.
### 2) Information that may be automatically collected or processed for app usage analytics, error handling, advertising, and consent management
The App uses Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob), and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). In this process, Google LLC may automatically collect or process the following information:
- App instance identifier
- Installation identifiers such as Firebase Installation ID (FID)
- Crashlytics installation UUID
- Mobile device identifiers such as Android Advertising ID and App Set ID
- Device and app information
- Device model
- Operating system information
- App version
- Language and region information
- Network and session-related information
- App usage information
- Screen view information
- First app open, app launch, and app update information
- Game start and result events
- Selected game type and difficulty level
- Completion status
- Play duration
- Score
- Accuracy
- Number of mistakes
- Number of hints used
- Advertising and SDK interaction information
- Ad request, load, impression, and failure events
- App launches, taps, video views, and other ad or SDK interaction information
- Advertising identifiers and IP addresses used for general location estimation
- Information for ad performance measurement, fraud prevention, and diagnostics

- Crash logs
- Stack traces
- App state at the time an error occurred
- Device metadata necessary for error analysis
- Consent and privacy options-related information
- Whether ad requests can be made
- Whether a privacy options entry point is required
- The user's advertising-related consent status
The Operator updates consent status in accordance with advertising-related laws and SDK policies and may display a consent form or privacy options form within the App when necessary.
### 3) Information that the Operator does not currently collect directly through the App
In the current version of the App, the Operator does not directly collect and store the following information on its servers:
- Personally identifying information such as name, phone number, or email address
- Precise location information
- Contacts, photos, text messages, or call records
- Payment information
## 2. Purposes of Processing Personal Information
The Operator processes personal information for the following purposes:
- Providing core app functionality
- Providing game records, statistics, best records, and consecutive play information
- Improving features and enhancing user experience through usage pattern analysis
- Detecting errors, responding to issues, and ensuring service stability
- Providing advertisements, measuring ad performance, and preventing fraud
- Checking advertising-related consent status and providing privacy options
- Responding to inquiries and fulfilling legal obligations
## 3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
The Operator retains personal information only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes of processing.
### 1) Locally stored information on the device
- Language settings, profile summaries, display names, best records, and similar information may be retained until the user deletes the App or uses the reset feature within the App.
- Play session data, game results, and statistics sample data may be automatically deleted by the App's logic in order to maintain a rolling 90-day statistics window.
Users may directly delete local play records and statistics data by using the statistics reset feature in the App settings.
### 2) Information related to Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, AdMob, and UMP
Such information is processed through infrastructure provided by Google LLC, and the specific retention period is subject to Google's policies, service settings, and applicable laws and regulations.
## 4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties and Outsourced Processing
The Operator may use the following external services for operation of the App.

## 5. International Transfer of Personal Information
Because the App uses Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, AdMob, and UMP, personal information may be transferred overseas.
- Recipient: Google LLC
- Destination countries: The United States and countries where Google's global data centers are located
- Transferred items: App instance identifiers, installation identifiers, advertising identifiers, device information, app usage information, advertising and SDK interaction information, crash and diagnostic information, consent status information, etc.
- Timing and method of transfer: Transmission over the network during app launch, app use, ad requests or ad impressions, consent status updates, and error occurrences
- Purpose of transfer: App usage analytics, advertising delivery and measurement, fraud prevention, consent management, issue response, and quality and stability improvement
- Retention and use period: Subject to Google's relevant policies, contracts, service settings, and applicable laws and regulations
## 6. User Rights and How to Exercise Them
Users may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of their personal information within the scope permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
Because the App is not currently a membership-based service, users may directly control their information in the following ways:
- Deleting the App
- Using the statistics reset feature within the App
- Using the advertising privacy options entry point in the App settings screen
- Resetting or deleting the advertising ID in the operating system settings
- Contacting the Operator to request additional action
## 7. Destruction of Personal Information
The Operator will destroy personal information without delay when the purpose of processing has been achieved or the retention period has expired.
- Information stored on the device: Destroyed when the App is deleted, when statistics are reset, or when automatically cleaned up according to the App's logic
- Information processed by external services: May be deleted, anonymized, or removed after the retention period in accordance with Google's policies and service settings
## 8. Measures to Protect Personal Information
The Operator strives to take the following measures to protect personal information:
- Processing only the minimum information necessary
- Limiting the scope of locally stored data
- Restricting unnecessary collection of information beyond advertising, analytics, and error response purposes
- Utilizing security features of external service providers and encryption in data transmission
## 9. Advertising and Personalized Advertising
The App may display banner ads and interstitial ads through Google AdMob.
- Ad requests are processed in consideration of applicable laws, SDK policies, and the user's consent status.
- Consent information may be updated through Google UMP, and a consent form or privacy options form may be shown when necessary.
- Users may reopen the advertising privacy options from the App settings screen. However, the availability of this entry point may vary depending on Google's message settings and legal requirements.
- Depending on the user's consent status, Google settings, and applicable laws, AdMob may provide personalized ads, non-personalized ads, or limited ads.
## 10. Children's Personal Information
The Operator does not knowingly collect children's personal information where separate consent is required by law. If the Operator becomes aware that children's personal information has been collected in violation of applicable laws, it will delete such information or take other necessary measures without delay.
